New year, new PWDR Days, same core values: endless skiing and non-stop fun! In 2024, 50 of us met in Zinal in the Val d’Anniviers valley, sharing slopes, laughs, and unforgettable memories. As with every edition, the week started with a house full of strangers and ended with lifelong friendships.
On the Slopes: Powder Carving & Ice Swims
Morning Drops & Powder Carving
From early morning first tracks to carving fresh powder down Zinal’s high-altitude bowls, the mountain energy was electric.
Waterfall Hikes & Icy Swims
Beyond skiing, participants ventured out on mountain hikes to frozen alpine waterfalls—where a few brave souls even took an icy plunge! Stargazing, quiet walks, and evening yoga provided peaceful recovery after full days on the slopes.
Life at the Chalet: DJ Sets, Kitchen Raves & Karaoke
Après-Ski DJ Sets & Ski-Boot Dancing
Right from day one, our après-ski sessions set the tone. Featuring live DJ sets at home, every night turned into a dance floor. Nobody wanted to call it a night when the music was that good!
Legendary Kitchen Raves
The chalet kitchen became the true heart of the house. Every evening, while cooking dinner for 50 people, we cranked up house beats and turned dinner prep into full-blown kitchen raves.
Karaoke & Dance Night
Karaoke night was an absolute banger! People who claimed they couldn’t sing transformed into rock stars. Later in the week, a group dance workshop taught everyone moves that were equal parts hilarious and impressive.
Giving Back: Environmental Donation
Supporting Bergwaldprojekt
In 2024, surplus funds from our trip budget were donated directly to mountain forest protection.
We donated 850 € to Bergwaldprojekt, contributing to reforestation and wildlife habitat conservation in the Alps.
